The New Orleans Pelicans are in desperate need of a win to stay afloat in the Western Conference playoff race, but they’ve been tough to trust without Zion Williamson in the lineup.

So, why not bet on some props in their game with the Orlando Magic?

This isn’t the flashiest matchup of the night, but there are plenty of players that we can target in this game. Here are my three favorites:

Magic vs. Pelicans best NBA prop bets

  • Paolo Banchero UNDER 0.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Franz Wagner OVER 3.5 Rebounds
  • Jonas Valanciunas to Record a Double-Double

Paolo Banchero UNDER 0.5 3-Pointers Made

Paolo Banchero has struggled mightily shooting the 3-ball this month, shooting 3.3 percent (yes, you read that right) on three attempts per game in 10 games.

He’s failed to make a 3 in five straight games and nine of his last 10. He’s also taken jut five total in his last three games, a sign that he may be losing confidence in the shot.

Go UNDER with this prop still at plus money.

Franz Wagner OVER 3.5 Rebounds

Franz Wagner may only be averaging 4.0 rebounds per game, but he’s picked things up in that department as of late, grabbing four or more boards in six of his last 10 games, including a six-rebound game his last time out.

I’m expecting this to be a low-scoring game with both teams ranking in the bottom half of the league in rebounding percentage, so I think Wagner will have plenty of chances on the glass, especially with Jonathan Isaac out.

Jonas Valanciunas to Record a Double-Double

Jonas Valanciunas has been a double-double machine as of late, picking one up in six of his last nine games.

On the season, the Pelicans big man is averaging 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, nearly a double-double a night.

The Magic have struggled on the glass at times with their young team, allowing Jakob Poeltl to have a field day with them before the All-Star break. Considering that Valanciunas has put up 11 or more boards in five of his last 10, I like the floor that we have in this prop.
