7. Kendre Miller, Texas Christian University

Much like his counterpart in 2020 and 2021, the aforementioned Kendre Miller popped off in his debut as the premier back in 2022. He played an integral role in making TCU’s prolific offense just that, and he showed a number of traits throughout the year that will smoothly translate to the league.

First and foremost is the presence of mind that he plays with. He is a twitchy runner that can shake one defender out of his cleats and level the next. Every move he makes on the field looks premeditated and he is seriously fun to watch.

The most enjoyable game of his to review is the Week 8 matchup against Kansas State. Most important about that game is the context. K-State was a bonafide top-10 program in 2022 and built its identity around a smash-mouth brand of football. These two teams duked it out in the Big12 conference championship game and the Wildcats snuffed him out a bit. But that mid-season matchup was Miller’s showcase. He undressed the conference’s leading defense, rushing for over 150 yards and finding the end zone twice.

All of that is said to explain the competitor in Kendre Miller. He shows up repeatedly, rushed for over 100 yards seven different times, and less than 50 just once in 2022. A lot of draft outlets are currently undervaluing this kid, but a big week at the combine could swiftly propel Miller into the day-two conversation.
