SEC Champions – Kentucky Wildcats

It’s incredible to think that the Wildcats were in jeopardy of missing the NCAA Tournament entirely in mid-January. Kentucky is playing its best basketball at the right time and they take advantage of the slumps Alabama and Tennessee are going through to snag the conference tournament crown.

Southern Champions – Furman Paladins

The always-entertaining SoCon has delivered some drama as Chattanooga has pulled off multiple upsets to reach the final. Unfortunately for the Mocs, the firepower that Furman has is too much for them to overcome.

Southland Champions- Texas A&M Corpus-Christi Islanders

The Islanders are an offensive juggernaut that averages over 80 points per game and swept No. 2 seed Northwestern State during the regular season. Winning the Southland would send Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to their second-ever NCAA Tournament.

Summit League Champions – Oral Roberts Golden Eagles

2021’s NCAA Tournament darling still has Max Abmas in the fold and stamped through the Summit League with a perfect 18-0 record during the regular season. The Golden Eagles should be much higher than a 15-seed this time around and will terrify whoever they draw in the Round of 64.

Sun Belt Champions – Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns

South Alabama has had a miraculous run through the Sun Belt tournament but Louisiana stops them dead in their tracks. The Ragin Cajuns are led by star senior Jordan Brown, who averages 19.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

SWAC Champions – Grambling Tigers

Grambling has proven it can go toe-to-toe with power conference goliaths with non-conference victories over Colorado and Vanderbilt this season. This team is also motivated to reach its first-ever NCAA Tournament and holds off Alcorn State to get the job done.

WAC Champions – Utah Valley Wolverines

New Mexico State’s decision to suspend its season made a mess of the WAC Tournament, leaving the league’s best team in Utah Valley as the No. 2 seed. The Wolverines have won eight of their last nine games and can lock up their first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament here.

WCC Champions – Gonzaga Bulldogs

A third meeting between Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s will be one of the highlights of Champ Week but the Bulldogs get the job done to win the WCC crown. The storylines should be endless for Gonzaga as Drew Timme is set to make his final March Madness run as a collegian.
