Ranking every player on the Cowboys free agency board
By Jakob Ashlin
5. Parris Campbell, WR
Despite inconsistent quarterback play, Campbell emerged as a playmaker for the Colts last season. He hauled in a career-high 63 receptions for 623 yards and three touchdowns. He also led the Colts’ wide receivers (minimum five receptions) with 4.4 yards after catch per reception and five broken tackles.
Campbell’s talent has always been apparent. He ran a 4.31-second 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL Combine, and he was a first-team All-Big Ten selection at Ohio State. Last season, he was finally able to put it all together at the NFL level.
Following a career year, the 25-year-old is flying under the radar. He could be a steal for the Cowboys in free agency. Spotrac estimates his market value to be $2.5 million per season.
Campbell’s game-breaking speed would be dangerous alongside CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. Given his age and continued improvement, he offers more upside than some of the bigger names on the market.
