3. Dalton Schultz, TE

In 2021, Schultz exploded for a breakout campaign with 78 receptions for 808 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition, he posted a PFF grade of 78.1.

Schultz continued to produce at a high-level last season. Over his final 11 regular season games, he had 48 receptions for 497 yards and five touchdowns. During the Wild Card round, he led the Cowboys with seven receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Schultz has become a critical piece of the Cowboys’ offense. However, he should have a large market in free agency. Since 2021, Schultz is fourth among NFL tight ends in receptions (135), trailing only Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and T.J. Hockenson. Spotrac estimates his market value to be $15.1 million per season. That would make him the second-highest-paid tight end in the NFL behind only Darren Waller. With limited cap space, are the Cowboys willing to make that deal?
