Oakland A’s

Prediction: The A’s once again finish in last place.

This is going to be a tough year for the A’s. There’s no way of sugarcoating it. There’s a strong argument to be made that they are the worst team in baseball, not just the American League.

The A’s did sign multiple veterans this offseason — Jace Peterson, Aledmys Diaz and Jesus Aguilar — so that at least provides some established names on offense. Seth Brown is another promising name, as is offseason addition JJ Bleday.

But the A’s are the favorites to finish last in the division and are prime candidates to once again move veteran players at the trade deadline. They won 60 games last season and it’s possible they don’t even reach that number this season.
