No. 3 Option: Myles Murphy, DE, Clemson

This scenario will likely pop up if Chicago goes heavy with investing in offensive linemen in free agency. Still, it would be a nice move to add a pass rusher like Myles Murphy in the draft. He would be a foundation piece for the Bears for years to come.

The defensive line needs a massive reboot, and players like Myles Murphy can step in on Day One and make an immediate impact.

Chicago needs to get faster, meaner, and more aggressive within the trenches. Until they solidify those areas, everything else means nothing.

That’s not to say Murphy won’t fit. However, the main goal is to still build around Justin Fields. Murphy is a blessing pick, and if his performance on defense can help Fields on offense, then make the move and don’t look back.
