Safety. Los Angeles Rams. Antonio Johnson. 36. player. 51.
The Los Angeles Rams traded away their 2023 first-round pick a few years ago in the trade that landed Matthew Stafford in La La Land. Stafford then proceeded to lead the Rams to a Super Bowl title, but only a little over a calendar year later, the franchise appears poised to send him packing in another trade.
Because of the trade, the Rams won’t pick in April until the second round, and they bolster the secondary with the selection of Antonio Johnson. Widely regarded as a top-2 safety in this draft class, Johnson would be a big help to a defensive backfield that is likely to lose Jalen Ramsey this offseason.
Seattle Seahawks. O'Cyrus Torrence. 37. player. 36. . Offensive Lineman
The Seattle Seahawks continue to stack talent in the 2023 NFL Draft, as they have some of the better draft capital of all the teams heading into this draft season. The franchise recently spent big money to keep Geno Smith as their starting quarterback, and with pick No. 37 overall, they get him some protection.
O’Cyrus Torrence is an interior offensive lineman who is picking up steam this draft season, and he absolutely dominated in the SEC this past collegiate season. He is a plug-and-play offensive guard at the next level, and for Seattle, protecting their latest investment in Smith has to be a huge priority this offseason.
