player. 53. . Linebacker. Cleveland Browns. BJ Ojulari. 42

The Cleveland Browns’ first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft will come at selection No. 42 overall, as they lost their first-round pick in the Deshaun Watson trade. Cleveland will have some big decisions to make in terms of their current free agents, and linebacker could be a spot that is left vacant this offseason.

When it comes to NFL-ready players in this class, BJ Ojulari is certainly one of them, and he would be an excellent addition alongside Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah as young linebackers for this franchise. Cleveland will be expecting to take a big step forward in Watson’s first full season at the helm, but the defense needs an overhaul.

. Linebacker. New York Jets. Henry To'oTo'o. 43. player. 30

The New York Jets’ defense was one of the best in football last season, so why not try and make an outstanding group even better this offseason? They have already swung a trade to bolster their secondary, and in the second round of our mock draft, they add a talented linebacker in Henry To’oTo’o from Alabama.

To’oTo’o is widely considered one of the best linebackers in this draft class, and some believe he could end up with a first-round grade before all is said and done. Joe Douglas hit a home run with his Day 1 and 2 picks in last year’s draft, and by adding To’oTo’o and Peter Skoronski to problem areas on the roster in 2023, he does it again.
