2. Los Angeles Dodgers

Could Ohtani go from one Los Angeles team to another and join the Dodgers? On paper, there seems to be a perfect match here. Similar to the Yankees, the Dodgers have a history of being very aggressive in the trade market, and it is hard to believe that they won’t be involved in the Ohtani race because of it. Furthermore, the Dodgers are aiming to get back to the World Series, and Ohtani could be the player that leads them right to it.

Furthermore, when looking at the Dodgers’ current group, Ohtani would give them a much-needed boost in the outfield. Although their rotation is already quite strong, what would be the harm in adding Ohtani to it? He would make the front half of their rotation simply lethal, and that is always a great thing come playoff time. Thus, look for the Dodgers to go all-in for the superstar.
