2023 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock after early free agency waves

CB. Baltimore Ravens. Kelee Ringo. 22. player. 26.

The Baltimore Ravens still do not have any clear indication about what they plan to do with quarterback Lamar Jackson, so that is something to keep an eye on leading into the draft. If Jackson ends up leaving Baltimore, they will certainly be in the running for a quarterback in the first round, but this mock is based on the assumption that he stays in Charm City.

If Jackson is under center, Baltimore should be fine on offense, but it is the defense that may need to be revamped a bit this offseason. In the secondary, the cornerback spot is a position of weakness, which is why Kelee Ringo is the pick here at No. 22 overall.

23. player. 60. . LB. Minnesota Vikings. Trenton Simpson

The Minnesota Vikings have been very busy this offseason bolstering the roster on both sides of the ball as they look to make a run in the NFC North next season. That is a division that will certainly be there for the taking, so the fact that they spent big money in free agency makes a lot of sense.

Still, looking at the roster, they could use more help on defense, especially at the linebacker spot. Minnesota did bring in Troy Reeder on a one-year deal, but Trenton Simpson from Clemson is an elite linebacker prospect and would be one of the final pieces of the puzzle on that side of the ball in Minnesota.
