2023 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock after early free agency waves

Edge. Philadelphia Eagles. Isaiah Foskey. 30. player. 54.

The Philadelphia Eagles hold two first-round picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, an incredible wealth of draft capital for a team that went to the Super Bowl this past season. With the No. 10 overall pick, the Eagles gave another weapon to Jalen Hurts in Jordan Addison, and here at No. 30, they bolster the defensive line.

Philadelphia is going to need some more help coming off the edge in 2023, which is why Isaiah Foskey is the right choice at the bottom of the first round. Foskey set the Notre Dame career sacks record during his time with the Irish, and in Philadelphia, he would join a defensive front that includes some punishing edge rushers already.

124. . OT. Kansas City Chiefs. Dawand Jones. 31. player

To close out the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs will hold the No. 31 overall pick. It was another banner season for the Chiefs, who won their second Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback, a theme we could see repeating itself for years to come.

This offseason, Kansas City did lose Orlando Brown Jr. to free agency, so picking an offensive tackle here at the bottom of the first round makes sense. Dawand Jones from Ohio State is a punishing tackle who has the size and feet to come in and start on Day 1, something Kansas City needs from their first-round pick.
