2023 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock after early free agency waves

15. . DT. New Orleans Saints. Siaki Ika. 40. player

The New Orleans Saints continue to stock talent for their defense, this time adding a defensive tackle to the mix with pick No. 40 overall. The Saints have the firepower on offense to put up points in bunches, and in a wide-open NFC South, it makes sense that they would use their first two picks in 2023 on the defensive side of the ball.

Siaki Ika from Baylor is a punishing tackler and has the athletic ability to get after the quarterback at the next level as well. New Orleans has a real chance to change their fortunes in a big way after a down 2022 season, and defenders like Ika and Lukas Van Ness can help them do just that.

BJ Ojulari. 41. player. 35. . LB. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans knew they needed to bolster the offensive line with their first-round pick, and they did so with Broderick Jones out of Georgia. That player gives Malik Willis a cornerstone left tackle as he tries to navigate the NFL landscape in his first season as the starter, but changes are also coming on defense.

With pick No. 41 overall, Tennessee adds a talented edge rusher in BJ Ojulari from LSU. This is a kid who could be gone on Day 1 due to his versatility, but if he is available, a defensive-minded head coach like Mike Vrabel will have a hard time passing on him on Day 2.
