What is the payout structure for the WGC-Dell Match Play purse?

Match play has arrived for the first time in the 2023 PGA season with the World Golf Championship-Dell Technologies Match Play. With it comes a new format (which, if you’re confused, we have an explainer here) and a slightly altered structure for how the purse pays out compared to the non-Match play events.

This is a designated event on the newly-structured PGA Tour schedule, meaning the payout is up at $20 million, tied for the second-highest of a single event. Only THE PLAYERS Championship came in with a higher purse ($25 million) this year.

So, without further ado, here’s how the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play purse pays out.
