My picks: Luis Castillo and Ryan Helsley

Okay, definitely time to start loading up on some pitchers, and I’m happy I picked up a solid starter and reliever in this round. I love what Castillo has brought to the Mariners since coming to the Pacific Northwest, and I think Helsley will want to erase the memories of last year’s Wild Card outing pretty quickly this season.

Varsho going with the last pick of Round 7 could be the steal of the draft, to be honest, especially if he gets enough time behind the plate this season to qualify as a catcher as well.
