My picks: Kris Bryant and Clayton Kershaw

After I made these picks, I pictured myself getting in a time machine to go back to 2018 and talk about Bryant Kershaw going in the eighth and ninth rounds as baseball fans looked at me like I was crazy. Well, a lot has changed during that time, but I do believe both players will rebound from injury-filled seasons and perform well in 2023. I also am betting on Bryant being one of the leading candidates for NL Comeback Player of the Year this year.

Yoshida going in Round 8 after his World Baseball Classic showing could end up being a steal as well. I’m also closely watching Anderson this season after being in White Sox camp and hearing a lot of praise for him and Elvis Andrus forming a combination at the top of the lineup and up the middle.
