NFL Rumors: DeAndre Hopkins linked to explosive Buffalo Bills move
DeAndre Hopkins could be moved for cheap this offseason, and at least one pundit thinks the Buffalo Bills will bite.
On a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Bills reporter Sal Capaccio said he believes D-Hop to Buffalo could become a “reality.”
Naturally, the nitty-gritty details of salary and trade compensation will have to be ironed out, but as along as the Bills’ brass isn’t shutting their door to these rumors, fans and reporters alike will be left to their own devices to speculate.
The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly just asking for a second-rounder and something else of value, though any interested team probably wants Arizona to eat some of Hopkins’ hefty contract as well.
If it’s a playoff contender Hopkins is looking for, the Bills join the Kansas City Chiefs as the most rumored teams to nab the veteran wideout.
His injury history aside, Hopkins burst back onto the scene after his suspension in Arizona for 700-plus receiving yards to prove he’s just as dangerous, if a little less healthy, than before.
Josh Allen getting to throw to both Stefon Diggs and D-Hop would electrify the offense and maybe help the Bills get more postseason wins. One player won’t make all the difference, but an affordable weapon like Hopkins paired with Allen’s arm could wreak some serious havoc in 2023.
