4. Dennis Rodman

Similar to Manu Ginóbili, Dennis Rodman is a Hall of Famer who played a pivotal role for championship-caliber teams. He is one of the greatest rebounders the NBA has ever seen, he currently is 23rd all-time in rebounds. Although, Rodman was not always in the news for his basketball efforts.

Dennis Rodman had one of the most interesting careers in NBA history while also having the accolades to show why he is one of the best second-round picks in NBA history. A two-time All-NBA selection, five-time NBA Champion, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, and NBA 75th Anniversary Team member, Rodman was a special talent with a relentless motor.

He won back-to-back championships with the Detroit Pistons from 1988-1990 before joining forces with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in Chicago, where he won three more championships. While Rodman’s top priority didn’t always seem to be basketball, it is scary to think he could’ve been even better if it was.

At 45 years old, Dennis Rodman was still making headlines when he tried to make an NBA comeback. He set the BBL record for rebounds corralled in a single game (23), showing he still has a rare talent for locating the ball and getting to it.

While Rodman may be remembered for a lot of his off-court antics, we cannot forget the impact he made in the NBA as a second-round draft pick.
