2023 NFL Draft: Official Draft Week full two-round mock

5. player. 36. . Edge. Seattle Seahawks. Tyree Wilson

The Seattle Seahawks hold the No. 5 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which is incredible draft capital considering they were a playoff team last season. The Seahawks could go several different ways with this selection, including trading down, but instead, they add what could be a generational edge rusher.

Tyree Wilson would be the No. 1 edge rusher, and defensive player if Will Anderson Jr. was not in this draft, but could have the same impact as Anderson at the next level. He plays the game with an incredible appetite to get after the quarterback and fills one of the few holes on this Seattle roster.

. DT. Detroit Lions. Jalen Carter. 6. player. 50

One of the biggest names of this year’s draft cycle has been Jalen Carter, who started the process as a possible No. 1 overall pick. Since then, he has had issues off the field, and cardio issues on the field show up, and some believe he could have a staggering fall on Day 1 this year.

However, that is not likely to be the case considering teams in the top 10 are in desperate need of defensive tackle help. Many feel Carter has the skill set to be an All-Pro at the next level, and that kind of talent is going to get every opportunity to thrive, despite possible red flags.
