Today’s Premier League news includes transfer rumors of Harry Kane to Real Madrid, Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool and Wilfried Zaha to Chelsea.

Premier League news: Harry Kane to Real Madrid

Harry Kane has endured another difficult season at Tottenham Hotspur. Despite his 25 goals in 34 Premier League games this season, the club has slipped to sixth in the division and they are now nine points off Manchester United who occupy the last Champions League place.

The England captain tried to force a move to Manchester City a few years ago. However, Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy proved to be too tough a negotiator to allow the transfer to happen. Now Kane has just a year left on his contract, the club risk losing him for nothing at the end of next season. So it could be time for Spurs to cash in on their talisman.

Kane is thought to favor a move to another Premier League club as he is not far off the competition’s all-time goalscoring record. He is second with 208 goals while Alan Shearer tops the chart having found the back of the net 260 times.

A move to a rival club will be the last thing that Levy wants to do, so a move abroad could be Kane’s only option. He has been linked with Bayern Munich but the Spanish website Diario AS has revealed that Real Madrid is also interested. A move to Los Blancos would certainly be tempting for Kane who is still yet to win a trophy in his career.

Premier League news: Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool

Brighton has had a very promising season, they were unlucky not to get past Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. However, the Seagulls are still eighth in the Premier League and can qualify for Europe next season.

One of Brighton’s best performers has been World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, who has scored eight league goals from midfield this season. As has been the case with many of Brighton’s most talented players recently they are often sold on to bigger clubs in the division.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that “Liverpool have presented their project and also a financial proposal to Alexis Mac Allister. The club will insist in the next weeks; discussions advancing but the agreement is not done yet. The feeling remains Alexis will 100% leave Brighton and it will be early, May or June.”

Mac Allister needs to move on from Brighton if he has ambitions of playing at the highest level. Liverpool is currently fifth in the division and has a chance at qualifying for the Champions League.

Premier League news: Wilfried Zaha to Chelsea

Wilfried Zaha has been a mainstay for Crystal Palace who has made 456 appearances for the club. He has been linked with moves away from Selhurst Park. However, despite his ambitions to play elsewhere, he has remained at Palace.

Zaha did have a chance at Manchester United early on in his career but it did not work out and he returned to Palace. He is now 30 but an opportunity to move might come again with the Daily Mail revealing that “Chelsea are interested in a summer swoop for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.”
