Forward. Oklahoma City Thunder. Brandon Miller. 2. player. 149.

The Thunder made a surprising push this season, making the Play-In Tournament and stealing a win from the New Orleans Pelicans. They are loaded with young talent and have a huge number of draft picks coming over the next few years. However, they have just one in this year’s lottery they’ll likely be looking for someone with upside for the future but also a reasonable role to play in a playoff run next season. On both counts, Brandon Miller is probably the best fit.

Miller is a talented wing scorer with outside shooting touch but there are questions about how well his interior finishing and self-creation ability would allow him to hold up as a primary scorer and creator. On the Thunder, with Jalen Williams, Josh Giddey Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Miller can be a complementary threat, playing off of them and being allowed to focus on open shots and attacking defenses that have already been shifted.

The Thunder roster is crowded but there will be some minutes available at the 3 and 4 and his shooting and floor spacing could be helpful to the Thunder as soon as next season.
