Memphis Grizzlies who won’t be back next season: 2. Tyus Jones

The first pick for this was very obvious. The next two are most likely to stick around for next season but both of these players will be most likely tossed around in trade rumors for superstars. (with picks). The Grizzlies have all of their picks and finished disappointingly in the first round of the playoffs. With Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr, this team could compete for a title with the addition of another star.

Tyus Jones is an exciting trade chip as he is a very good backup point guard for Memphis and has a very affordable contract for next year at $14 million per year. His contract is expiring after next season but he still has a great value to any team he goes to. An argument could be made that he could be a solid starting point guard in this league if given the chance. He could be interesting as a piece in deals like a sign-and-trade with the Bucks for Khris Middleton or a potential Deandre Ayton deal.
