Best available NBA free agent power forwards: 3. Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant is a solid wing scorer and good defender. He is likely to be retained by Portland in the offseason but he certainly will have his suitors. It wouldn’t be completely surprising if he was involved in a mega sign-and-trade, especially if the Blazers end up trading Damian Lillard, either because he changes his mind and asks out or because they decide to pivot to the future.

If the Blazers’ pick ends up very high in the lottery, they could end up using a good veteran like Grant along with a pick in a deal. For any team, he could be a really good starter. He probably isn’t a good second option or on a championship contender but he is a really good offensive weapon to have on a team.

The Trail Blazers offered him a full max deal during the season but he declined citing the fact that he wanted to focus on the season. Portland will really want to keep him due to the fact that they traded assets for him last summer.
