23. Frank Reich – Carolina Panthers

Frank Reich is safe. Just because he is further down the list than Ryans and Streichen doesn’t mean he’s not safe. What it means is his contract isn’t nearly as safe as the other coaches. Reich was given just a four-year deal, according to reports. The Panthers are still recovering from the seven-year deal they gave to former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule. He didn’t even last three years, and he won just 11 games total.

Reich comes in with some NFL head coaching experience. He had an unsuccessful run in Indianapolis, but can he really be blamed for that? Reich’s QBs during his Colts tenure were Andrew Luck (one season), Jacoby Brissett, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, and Matt Ryan.

Reich was able to put up three winning seasons with this hodge podge of quarterbacks. Reich is still one of the better offensive minds in the league. He’s the man behind the Tom Brady duel in Super Bowl LII, making Nick Foles a household name.

The Panthers traded up for the first-overall pick in the NFL Draft, giving the Panthers another star under center in Bryce Young. The former Alabama gunner brings a dual-threat style to Carolina. The Panthers will give Reich time to build an offense around this kid.
