NBA Draft rumors: Damian Lillard still wants the team to trade No. 3

According to Brian Winhorst, Damian Lillard really wants the team to trade the third overall pick. For a while, it has seemed like the Trail Blazers were offering the third overall pick to teams and were not able to get the veteran talent that they wanted. Over the past few weeks, there was buzz that they were open to keeping the pick but apparently, Lillard isn’t on board with that plan.

The All-NBA player does not want to request a trade from the only team that he has played for, but the Blazers may be calling his bluff. If Lillard becomes available he has named the Nets and Heat as his preferred destinations and both players could make compelling rebuilding offers to the Blazers.
