Monday’s Major League Baseball slate is a smaller one, but that’s not going to dissuade me from betting on some pitcher props for the day’s action.

I have a pair of plus money props to bet, backing two starters that have favorable matchups. Let’s break down each pick:

Both of the props below are available at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best MLB prop bets today

  • Drew Smyly UNDER 2.5 earned runs allowed (+100)
  • Logan Webb to record a win (+155)

Drew Smyly UNDER 2.5 earned runs allowed (+100)

Drew Smyly has been up and down for the Chicago Cubs in the 2023 season, but he gets a crack at the worst offense in MLB against lefties on Monday.

The Milwaukee Brewers rank dead last in Major League Baseball in OPS against lefties, and Smyly didn’t allow a single run against them last season in two appearances.

Smyly has also given up two or fewer earned runs in 11 of his 16 appearances this season, so I think we’re getting a ton of value with this priced at even money.

Logan Webb to record a win (+155)

Logan Webb has been an elite pitcher at home this season (2.31 ERA), and he’s taking on a Seattle Mariners team that ranks in the bottom 10 in the league in OPS this season on Monday.

The San Francisco Giants ace has allowed more than four earned runs in just one start this season, and he’s received a decision in 14 of his 17 outings.

If Webb can work deep into this game, the Giants are going to let him, as he completed seven innings in four of his six June starts.

San Francisco also has a top 10 bullpen ERA, so I like the team’s chances of holding the lead for Webb once he exits.

At +155, I like taking Webb to record a win a lot more than the Giants as favorites.
