NFL Power Rankings: 15. Jacksonville Jaguars

2022 rushing yards rank: 14th
2022 yards per carry rank: 9th

Travis Etienne Jr. played at a superstar level in 2022. He rushed for 1,125 yards and five touchdowns. More importantly, he did it in an efficient fashion, finishing second in the NFL in rush yards over expected (263), trailing only Nick Chubb. His top speed of 21.62 miles per hour was the fourth-highest ball carrier time among running backs, per NFL Next Gen Stats.

There are some concerns here. Jacksonville’s offensive line was 29th in run block win rate last season. Furthermore, they lack a proven No. 2 option after trading away James Robinson. Somehow, Etienee and the offense still managed to finish ninth in yards per carry last season, despite those factors.
