NFL Power Rankings: 31. Los Angeles Rams

2022 rushing yards rank: 27th (tied)
2022 yards per carry rank: 27th

The Rams will deploy a similar look in 2023 with Cam Akers, Sony Michel, and Kyren Williams vying for carries.

Akers was the clear lead back last season, rushing for 786 yards and seven touchdowns. Michel played for the Rams in 2021, rushing for 845 yards and four touchdowns. After a down season with the Chargers, he will look to bounce back with his old team. Williams played a complementary role in the second half of the season.

One key loss is Darrell Henderson Jr. After starting seven games, he was surprisingly released in November.

Sixth-round pick Zach Evans is a dark horse to watch. After the draft, head coach Sean McVay stated that Evans had a “complementary skillset to Cam Akers”. As a junior at Ole Miss, Evans rushed for 936 yards and nine touchdowns
