NFL Power Rankings: 7. Buffalo Bills

2022 rushing yards rank: 7th
2022 yards per carry rank: 2nd

The discourse around Josh Allen surrounds his arm talent, but he has been a historically great rusher, as well. Since 2018, he is second among quarterbacks in rushing yards (3,087), trailing only Lamar Jackson. In 2022, Allen’s 762 rushing yards were the 16th-most all-time by a quarterback in a single season.

After four seasons in Buffalo, Devin Singletary signed with the Texans this offseason. As a result, second-year running back James Cook and free agent acquisition Damien Harris will carry the workload. As a rookie, Cook rushed for 507 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Harris rushed for 2,082 yards and 20 touchdowns over his last three seasons.

The Allen/Cook/Harris trio should propel the Bills to another top-10 rushing campaign.
