The PGA Tour wrapped up its Hawaii swing of its calendar last week, and will now return to the continental United States for The American Express.

If you want my full betting preview and outright picks to win, check out the article I wrote on Monday which break those down.

Here's I'm going to give you a few longshot bets that have a chance to have success this week. Maybe you only have a little bit of money in your gambling fund for this month and want to take a shot at a big payout, or maybe you're looking for a few sneaky plays in daily fantasy or Top 20 bets. Either way, I have you covered.

All odds listed below are via WynnBET.

Dark Horse Picks to Win The American Express

Cameron Champ +10000

I'll always have a soft spot for Cameron Champ after cashing in at 100/1 for me at the 3M Open last season. And look at that, he's set at the exact same odds this week.

With this event spanning across three different courses, it can be tough handicap, but he finished 21st at this event back in 2020, so he's found some success here. Some one whose as strong of a driver of the golf ball as Champ is will always put himself in contention if he has a good weekend with his irons and putter.

He's available at +350 to finish in the Top 20.

Emiliano Grillo +11000

Emiliano Grillo has missed three straight cuts, but he's still talented and skilled enough to deserve better than +11000 (bet $100 to profit $11,000) odds. He finished in 37th place at this event last season, and was in contention for a win before collapsing on Sunday with a 76 round score.

If Grillo ever figures out his flat stick, he'll be a golfer to target in weaker field events. He's available at +450 to finish in the Top 20.

Sahith Theegala +20000

I wrote about how Sahith Theegala is poised to have a breakout season, and he could be in contention any week. The 20-year old swept the NCAA golf individual awards in his final year at Pepperdine, and he's established himself as arguably the most talented golfer in the United States in his age group.

He finished T48 at the Sony Open last week, and now that he's a little bit more comfortable in a PGA Tour event, he could be ready for a breakout tournament.

He's available at +700 to finish in the Top 20 this week.
