The Chicago Bears will look to avenge their shellacking on Sunday Night Football in Week 1 when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 2.

Cincinnati is coming off an impressive upset win in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings, and Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Mixon showed that they can form a lethal combo on offense for the Bengals.

The Bears are still rocking with Andy Dalton despite his uninspiring Week 1 performance, and oddsmakers still have them as the favorite in this one at Soldier Field. Dalton will face the team that drafted him with a chance to prove to Bears fans that he deserves the starting quarterback job over Justin Fields.

Here’s a look at the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook for Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. EST matchup:

Bears vs. Bengals Spread, Odds and Over/Under

Spread:

Bears -2.5 (-110)

Bengals +2.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

Bears: -135

Bengals: +115

Over/Under: 45.0 (Over: -110/Under: -110)

Bengals vs. Bears Betting Trends

  • The Bears are 24-27 against the spread since Matt Nagy became the team’s head coach in 2018.
  • The Bears are 7-7 against the spread and 9-5 straight up as a home favorite under Nagy.
  • The Bengals are 6-5 all time against the Bears, but Chicago has won the last two meetings.
  • Cincinnati is 1-12-1 as a road underdog under Zac Taylor, the worst mark in the NFL, however, the Bengals are 8-6 against the spread in those games.

Bears vs. Bengals Prediction and Pick

The Bengals have struggled as a road underdog in recent years, but they’ve also been one of the NFL’s worst teams for several seasons.

With Joe Burrow healthy and a plethora of playmakers on offense, the Bengals look like a new team in 2021, and I don’t mind taking them to cover in this one.

Our own Donnavan Smoot has Cincy as his upset pick of the week, and while I am not ambitious enough to say that the Bengals will win, taking them at +115 on the moneyline is not a horrible value since they are just 2.5-point underdogs.
