Bet on this 'Sneaky' Tom Brady Prop to Hit for Huge Value vs. Eagles
By Ben Heisler
Tom Brady is the undisputed GOAT at the quarterback position, but did you know he's also the GOAT in another statistical category?
The quarterback sneak.
Heading into the start of last year's season, Brady led the NFL with 157 QB sneak attempts. The second-highest was Drew Brees with 85. Furthermore, he also led the way in expected points added, giving his team roughly an extra touchdown each season.
So why exactly does this matter?
The Bucs travel to Philadelphia tonight to take on the Eagles as seven-point road favorites with a total of 52.5. Brady is currently second in the NFL in passing touchdowns, but also has one rushing touchdown via QB sneak in 2021.
WynnBET has a unique prop offering ahead of tonight's game where if Tom Brady scores an "Anytime Touchdown" and the Bucs win the game, the odds pay out at +850 (bet $100 to win $850).
If we're basing the win expectancy of this prop in the sample size of the 2021 season, Brady has already done it once already, rushing for a touchdown in 20% of his games played this season. WynnBET's implied probability of the prop has it at 10.5%. Aside from the part of the Buccaneers needing to win, they're a full touchdown favorite on the road. Bettors can also hedge the wager with a small moneyline wager on the Eagles side if interested.
It's somewhat of a longshot play, but I'm very confident that if the ball gets placed at or around the 1-yard line, that Brady and the Bucs' offense will have no hesitation calling his number to get the final yard and the additional six-points. It's why I have it listed as my "best bet" of the night for Thursday Night Football with the rest of the BetSided team.
After all, he is the GOAT, right?
