The Buffalo Bills have been a fixture at No. 2 in my weekly NFL Power Rankings for the past few weeks, and they deserve all the respect they’re getting.

Buffalo has rebounded in a big way since its Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning four straight and allowing just 41 points over those four games. Buffalo shut out both the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans and held the Kansas City Chiefs to a season-low 20 points in Week 5.

Josh Allen looks like an MVP candidate once again, and our own Donnavan Smoot thinks he deserves to be the favorite at WynnBET Sportsbook over Kyler Murray and Justin Herbert.

Allen just went into Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night Football and outdueled Patrick Mahomes. If Murray did that, we would’ve locked up the award and handed it to him that night.

"Allen isn’t extremely far from Murray, with his odds set at +500. However, if Allen isn’t the favorite after that performance then the system is flawed.” -- Donnavan Smoot

Allen’s odds aren’t the only thing rising for the Bills, as Sunday night’s win over Kansas City has pushed Buffalo to the top of the odds list to win the Super Bowl this season.

Latest Odds to Win the Super Bowl

  • Buffalo Bills: +550
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +550
  • Kansas City Chiefs: +800
  • Los Angeles Rams: +900
  • Arizona Cardinals: +1000
  • Green Bay Packers: +1000
  • Baltimore Ravens: +1100
  • Dallas Cowboys: +1100
  • Cleveland Browns: +1400
  • Los Angeles Chargers: +1400

Buffalo has clearly changed its perception in Vegas since Week 1, and there’s no reason that a team that was a preseason favorite can’t continue to solidify itself as a top contender in the NFL.

Allen and the Bills have a big matchup on the road in Week 6 against the AFC South-leading Tennessee Titans. WynnBET has Buffalo as a five-point favorite in the matchup.

After the Tennessee game, the Bills’ schedule gets much easier. Buffalo faces the Dolphins (1-4), Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5) and New York Jets (1-4) the following three weeks.

If they take care of business in those games, there’s no doubt that the Super Bowl hype will only continue to grow.
