Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season gave us another view of who the true contenders are, as the Arizona Cardinals improved to 5-0, the Buffalo Bills upset the Kansas City Chiefs and Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers won a shootout over the Cleveland Browns.

The Chiefs are in a bit of trouble at 2-3, and WynnBET Sportsbook has dropped their Super Bowl odds below the Bills for the first time this season.

Herbert and Kyler Murray are in a dead heat for the league’s MVP award, and there were several key injuries (Russell Wilson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Clyde Edwards-Helaire) to monitor going forward.

However, Lamar Jackson stole the show on Monday Night Football, leading the Baltimore Ravens back from a 22-3 deficit with a magnificent second half.

Every week this season, yours truly delivers NFL Power Rankings that incorporate each team’s Super Bowl odds at WynnBET Sportsbook as they change each week. You can check out last week’s edition here.

Let’s see how each team stacks up ahead of Week 6’s action:

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1, +550) LW: No. 1

Tom Brady and the Bucs dismantled the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, with Brady throwing for over 400 yards and five touchdowns. Tampa Bay is clicking on all cylinders, but Brady is a bit banged up heading into a Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bucs should still roll.

2. Buffalo Bills (4-1, +550) LW: No. 2

The Bills have rebounded quite nicely from their Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, huh? Josh Allen carved up the horrible Chiefs defense on Sunday Night Football in an easy win. The Bills appear to be the team to beat in the AFC right now.

3. Arizona Cardinals (5-0, +1000) LW: No. 6

Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray just keep winning. It wasn't as pretty in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, but Murray is on a crazy pace to win MVP and get Arizona into the playoffs.

4. Los Angeles Rams (4-1, +900) LW: No. 4

Matthew Stafford and company rebounded nicely on Thursday Night Football against Seattle. If Robert Woods (12 catches, 150 yards) gets going, the Rams' offense is going to be tough to stop.

5. Green Bay Packers (4-1, +1000) LW: No. 3

The Packers and Mason Crosby made things interesting with a bunch of missed field goals before eventually beating the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are clicking, but Green Bay needs to finish more drives, especially if Crosby's struggles continue.

6. Baltimore Ravens (4-1, +1800) LW: No. 7

Lamar Jackson might be my pick to win MVP. The Ravens quarterback played the best half of football I've seen this season, finishing with 504 total yards to erase a 22-3 deficit to move to 4-1. Jackson was magnificent in the fourth quarter and overtime, leading three touchdown drives and converting a pair of two-point conversions. The Ravens have the most players in the NFL on IR, yet Lamar has them at 4-1.

7. Los Angeles Chargers (4-1, +1400) LW: No. 8

Justin Herbert has already turned into a star in just his second year in the NFL. The Chargers have now knocked off the Chiefs, Raiders and Browns in consecutive weeks. This team is for real.

8. Dallas Cowboys (4-1, +1100) LW: No. 10

Dallas took care of business against the lowly Giants and improved to 4-1 on the season (5-0 against the spread). Ezekiel Elliott looks like his old self and Dak Prescott is showing just how much Dallas missed him last season. Bill Belichick waits next.

9. Cleveland Browns (3-1, +1400) LW: No. 9

The Browns have found themselves in two games that they needed a game-winning drive from Baker Mayfield. They've lost both. The defense was great against the Vikings and Bears, but was picked apart when going up a class against the Chargers. I'm not sold on this Cleveland team just yet.

10. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3, +800) LW: No. 5

I want to knock the Chiefs further down the list, but there isn't a team that is close to their upside below them. Kansas City's defense is absolutely awful, and it's causing Patrick Mahomes to try to do too much on offense. Something has to change, but I don't know if K.C. has the personnel in house to make that happen.

11. Tennessee Titans (3-2, +4000) LW: No. 18

Tennessee still has some serious problems, but it knows how to beat up on the AFC South. Derrick Henry is having another MVP-caliber year, but I don't know if this defense can hold up for a deep playoff run.

12. New Orleans Saints (3-2, +4000) LW: No. 19

Jameis Winston was bad, then he was good, then he was bad, then he was good again in the Saints' win over Washington in Week 5. Sean Payton finally got Alvin Kamara the ball in the passing game and New Orleans reaped the benefits.

13. Cincinnati Bengals (3-2, +15000) LW: No. 16

Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are the real deal. Cincinnati may not be good enough to make the playoffs this season, but it hung tough with Green Bay and could've been 4-1 if Evan McPherson was able to make one of his late field goal attempts.

14. San Francisco 49ers (2-3, +3000) LW: No. 13

San Francisco has now lost three consecutive games and is without Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle. The bright side is all three games have been one-possession losses. The 49ers need a win against the Colts in Week 7 after the bye.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (3-2, +7500) LW: No. 11

For all of the quality games the Raiders have played, they put up a real stinker against the Bears in Week 5. Darren Waller hasn't had the same impact with defenses keying in on him, and Jon Gruden needs to make sure this team can turn things around quick with a trip to Mile High waiting in Week 6.

16. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3, +7500) LW: No. 25

Ben Roethlisberger played his best game of the season in the Steelers' win over the Broncos in Week 5. Losing Smith-Schuster hurts, but James Washington is a solid replacement option.

17. Denver Broncos (3-2, +6000) LW: No. 14

The Broncos had three first downs in the entire first half against the Steelers in Week 5. They turned it on in the second half, but still came up short. It's worth mentioning that Denver gave up 316 passing yards to Lamar Jackson in Week 4 and 253 to Big Ben in Week 5 ahead of its matchup with the Raiders.

18. Chicago Bears (3-2, +20000) LW: No. 21

Justin Fields has won back-to-back starts and is only going to keep getting better. The Bears may have a chance in the NFC with the Panthers, Seahawks and 49ers all stumbling the past few weeks.

19. Carolina Panthers (3-2, +10000) LW: No. 15

There's the Sam Darnold we know! Darnold threw three picks to doom the Panthers against the Eagles and now has five in his last two games. The Panthers are 0-2 without Christian McCaffrey, and they'll need him back to beat the Vikings in Week 6.

20. Seattle Seahawks (2-3, +7500) LW: No. 12

Seattle is going to be without Russell Wilson for at least three weeks and potentially up to eight. Geno Smith isn't saving this team if Russ can't play over half the games.

21. New England Patriots (2-3, +6000) LW: No. 20

Davis Mills carved up the Patriots' secondary, but the Texans' gamble on a long field goal allowed the Pats back into the game. Mac Jones orchestrated some nice drives in the second half to seal the win.

22. Minnesota Vikings (2-3, +6000) LW: No. 22

Minnesota's offense has cooled off significantly the last two weeks, but Greg Joseph came through with a huge field goal to save what would have been a disastrous loss to the Lions.

23. Indianapolis Colts (1-4, +5000) LW: No. 23

The Colts nearly upset the Ravens on Monday Night Football, but they blew a 22-3 lead thanks to Lamar Jackson's greatness. Carson Wentz threw for over 400 yards, but a blocked kick and another missed FG cost the Colts a chance to get to 2-3.

24. Philadelphia Eagles (2-3, +50000) LW: No. 24

Jalen Hurts and Philly didn't stop fighting and the defense made some huge stops to give the Eagles a comeback win in Week 5. Nick Sirianni's team still has work to do, but the Eagles have been better than many thought they'd be so far this season.

25. Washington Football Team (2-3, +15000) LW: No. 17

Taylor Heinicke can be good, but he also can be really bad. When that's combined with a defense that looks nothing like the team that somehow won the NFC East last season, you're going to be 2-3. Washington has two straight daunting games against the Chiefs and Packers coming up.

26. Atlanta Falcons (2-3, +50000) LW: No. 27

Atlanta showed some resilience and beat the Jets without Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley. Cordarrelle Patterson continues to be the pickup of the offseason, and Kyle Pitts had a career day. All good things from Atlanta in a game it had to win.

27. Miami Dolphins (1-4, +15000)

Tua Tagovailoa may be back in Week 6, but I don't know if he can save the Dolphins' season. The defense that was so good last season has been a shell of itself in 2021.

28. Detroit Lions (0-5, +200000) LW: No. 30

Dan Campbell's gutsy call to go for two to win the game almost paid off, until his defense let the Vikings to get into field goal range. The Lions play really hard, and they pushed the Ravens and Minnesota to the brink so far this season.

29. New York Giants (1-4, +50000) LW: No. 28

Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Kenny Golladay, Andrew Thomas, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton are all hurt. Translation: The Giants' already bad offense has no chance. At least Kadarius Toney has been playing well.

30. New York Jets (1-4, +200000) LW: No. 29

The Jets head into their bye week at 1-4 and off a loss to a Falcons team that was without its top two wide receivers. Maybe next year.

31. Houston Texans (1-4, +200000) LW: No. 31

Head coach David Culley made a rookie mistake trying a 56-yard field goal with his team up one score on the Patriots. The Texans had already missed two extra points on the day, and it allowed the Pats to get a short field to tie the game and go on to win. Davis Mills did have his best game as a prop, if you want that silver lining, Houston fans.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5, +200000) LW: No. 32

James Robinson has looked pretty good for Urban Meyer's team, it's a shame they drafted a running back in the first round this season. Even bigger shame that he is out for the year. Even bigger shame that Meyer is still an NFL head coach. But here we are.
