There are only two undefeated teams in the AFC through the first two weeks of the season, and they’re two squads you likely never expected.

The Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders are the only 2-0 teams left in the AFC, and Denver will face the lowly New York Jets in Week 3 of the season in Denver.

The Broncos are allowing just 13.0 points per game this season and picked off Trevor Lawrence twice in their win in Week 2. Even without Jerry Jeudy, Teddy Bridgewater stepped up to throw for 328 yards and two scores in the win, finding Courtland Sutton nine times for 159 yards.

Zach Wilson and the Jets had a forgettable game in Week 2, as the rookie tossed four interceptions in a blowout loss to the New England Patriots. Things won’t get much better against a stout Denver defense, but Bradley Chubb’s ankle injury could take a little wind out of the sails of Denver’s pass rush if he can’t go in Week 3. The Broncos also lost linebacker Josey Jewell for the season due to a torn pec.

Jets vs. Broncos Prediction and Pick

The Broncos have looked solid on both sides of the ball to start the season, and they are rightful favorites in this matchup, but I don’t know if I can take them to cover the 11.5-point spread.

Teddy Bridgewater has been fantastic ATS in his career, but the Broncos’ aren’t built to blow teams out, as they showed against Jacksonville this week after getting out to an early lead.

I’m going to take the under in this game instead, as both Denver and New York have hit the under in each of their games this season. Wilson has struggled this season and Denver’s defense should keep him in check at home. If you haven’t used the Broncos in survivor, this is another great week to do so.
