The Washington Commanders’ season is on the brink heading into a primetime matchup in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears.

The BetSided team has broke down some player props, anytime touchdown scorer picks and a same game parlay for this matchup to help you find a reason to root for someone in this matchup.

Here are my best bets for Thursday night football, including a pick on a side for this game:

Best Bets for Commanders vs. Bears on Thursday Night Football

  • Chicago Bears -1 vs. Washington Commanders (-110)
  • Justin Fields UNDER 176.5 Passing Yards (-114)
  • Carson Wentz to Throw an Interception (-130)

Chicago Bears -1 vs. Washington Commanders (-110)

There are spots, such as at PointsBet, where you can actually get points to bet on the Bears in this game.

I have zero confidence in the Commanders, especially with how poorly Carson Wentz is playing, and there is supposed to be wind in Chicago that could severely limit their passing offense.

Not only that, but the Commanders have been one of the worst defensive teams in the league this season as well. The Bears hung around with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 and have overall been a better team in my eyes this season.

Justin Fields UNDER 176.5 Passing Yards (-114)

The weather in Chicago isn’t expected to be good, with winds expected to be at around 20 miles per hour.

Justin Fields has cleared this line just one time this season, against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, and he has just two games where he’s attempted over 20 passes.

Do the Bears risk having him throw a lot at a windy Soldier Field? I doubt it.

Chicago has no problem running the ball even in bad game scripts, so with bad conditions and a potentially run-heavy script regardless, I’ll gladly take the UNDER on Fields’ passing yards this week.

Carson Wentz to Throw an Interception (-130)

Death, taxes and Carson Wentz throwing an interception.

I may be making a joke, but he really has been a walking pick the last few seasons.

Wentz has already thrown six picks in five games this season, throwing at least one interception in four of his five outings.

Ron Rivera has already called out Wentz’s poor play, and the Commanders are now on the road in bad conditions. If they try to throw the ball a lot, Wentz is almost a lock to throw a pick.

Fade him in Week 6.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
