It's been a thrilling yet controversial season on the PGA Tour, but the FedExCup playoffs are finally here! The FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind kicks off the festivities this weekend and I can't wait.

The BetSided team has you covered with all the betting information you need to make some dollars this weekend, including top picks, dark horse bets, and power rankings, but it's critical to keep in mind what golfers need to shoot to make the cut before placing your wagers over at WynnBET Sportsbook.

With that in mind, I'll take a look at past results at TPC Southwind and make my best guess on what the cut line will be. You can't win the tournament if you don't make the weekend, right?

What Will the FedEx St. Jude Championship Cut Line Be?

The top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut after not having a cut at this tournament since 2018. To figure out what golfers need to shoot, let's take a look at the cut lines from the last 10 tournaments, starting in 2018, at TPC Southwind:

  • 2018: E
  • 2017: +1
  • 2016: +1
  • 2015: +1
  • 2014: +1
  • 2013: +1
  • 2012: +2
  • 2011: +2
  • 2010: +1
  • 2009: E

As you can see, TPC Southwind typically plays pretty difficult. After a few years of no cut line, I expect conditions to be tough once again.

Golfers seem to be better these days, but course designers are crafty and will want to pose a challenge to this loaded field.

I'll stick with the trends and surmise +1 will be the cut. We may see some storms early Thursday but the weather looks clear otherwise, so I think the early wave could have trouble before things settle down into the weekend.

Cut Line Prediction: +1
