Give Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens their flowers, ladies and gentlemen.

Jackson and the Ravens absolutely dominated the 4-1 Los Angeles Chargers and MVP co-favorite Justin Herbert (+400 at WynnBET) on Sunday with a 34-6 victory.

Jackson didn’t need to put up the 504 yards that he did last week, as the Baltimore defense picked Herbert off once and held the Chargers in check, allowing Baltimore’s running game to take over.

Latavius Murray, Le’Veon Bell, and Devonta Freeman all scored a touchdown for the same team (Baltimore), in the same game, in the year 2021. What a time to be alive.

Baltimore is now 5-1 on the season with its lone loss coming in overtime to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.

The Ravens have done this while having 17 players on injured reserve (most in the NFL) and without their top three running backs. It’s a remarkable start, and they’ve beaten the Kansas City Chiefs and now the Chargers to prove that this isn’t some fluke.

WynnBET had Baltimore at +1300 to win the Super Bowl heading into this week’s matchup, but I can’t see the Ravens having over +1000 odds when the latest update is released.

Baltimore is for real, on both sides of the ball, and it has one of the best players in the NFL leading the way in Jackson. It may be too late to buy-low on the Ravens’ Super Bowl odds, but those who are holding a Ravens ticket are sitting pretty at the moment.
