Last week was a great start to this weekly column where I’ll compile a handful of live college football underdogs to craft a round robin.

We went 4-1 last week, giving us a nice buffer to go chase the big perfect Saturday.

Again, this is not something to put the house on, but a fun flier with a huge payout, with odds courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Onward!

Mississippi State (+110) vs. LSU

I broke down this game earlier in the week, which you can read here, but I see Mississippi State’s defense as the best unit on the field after strong performances against North Carolina State and Memphis.

LSU has injuries all over and I can’t trust Ed Orgeron as a favorite right now. Since the 2019 National Championship run, LSU is 3-3 as a favorite.

UTSA (+130) vs. Memphis

Another game that I wrote up earlier in the week, but the Road Runners are no strangers to winning on the road as underdogs, knocking off Illinois in Champaign earlier this month.

UTSA running back Sincere McCormick is going to have rushing lanes against a weak Memphis defensive line. The Tigers helped us cash in last week’s underdog round robin, but now they are inflated after a flukey win.

Utah State (+270) vs. Boise State

Utah State was the big fish for us last week, winning in a doozy of a game against Air Force, and now host Boise State with a 10 AM local kick.

Logan Bonner is set to start after taking a nasty hit in the second half against Air Force, and I’ll count on the Aggies offense to keep the pace against a Boise team that might be coming apart after a controversial loss to Oklahoma State.

I’m following the tail winds of a team on the rise under new coach Blake Anderson and fading a team that has a new coach in Boise that now sits at 1-2.

Western Kentucky (+280)

Full write up is in this week’s roundtable, but this is the spot of the week.

Bailey Zappe and Western Kentucky off of a bye under the lights at home against a 1-2 Indiana team that has looked out of sorts on offense who blew a double digit lead to a top 10 opponent? This is why we bet.

North Carolina State (+290) vs. Clemson

Maybe I’m getting carried away, but let’s go for glory after a profitable Week 3. My full write up can be found here, but North Carolina State is very live here against a Clemson team that has been sleep walking on offense through the first month of the season.

NC State has a veteran defense that is going to pressure the Achilles heel of the Tigers, the offensive line, and get to D.J. Uiagalelei. They are top 10 in defensive line yards and are going to put the Tigers behind the sticks, which is a problem for a team that is 99th in yards per pass attempt.

I don’t expect many points with two elite defenses but I’ll take the Wolfpack in front of the home crowd.

A few explosive plays may decide this one and give me the underdogs to find a way to get running back 'Bam' Knight, who is averaging nearly nine yards per carry, in space to win in a low scoring affair.

UCLA (-195) at Stanford

The Bruins are coming off a wild back-and-forth loss to Fresno State at home and now hit the road for the first time to face an overvalued Stanford team.

Stanford upset USC and beat up on lowly Vanderbilt, but this is a Cardinal defense that really struggles to stop the run, allowing nearly six yards per carry. Even if UCLA may have been a bit overrated after the LSU win, they are going to get whatever they want on this Stanford defense.

Give me the Bruins in a bounce back spot.

Just missed the cut: Florida Atlantic +160, North Texas +330, Kansas State +180, Kentucky -200, Toledo -200
