After his insane run in 2020 that was capped off with a win at the fall-version of the Masters, Johnson’s play has fallen off and he failed to win a single tournament in the 2021 calendar year. He’s failed to finish in the top five at a tournament since then, and has missed four cuts in his last 13 starts.
He’s had four Ryder Cup appearances, and has a losing record in the events at 7-9. He was also terrible for the United States in the latest edition of the event in 2018. DJ was one of only three Americans who competed in all five matches, but he accumulated only a single point for his team.
