The stage is set for the 2022 NCAA men's tournament Final Four in New Orleans this coming weekend, and four blue blood programs highlight the field this March.

The Kansas Jayhawks, Duke Blue Devils, Villanova Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels face off in the Final Four, with the Tar Heels and Jayhawks knocking off the two remaining Cinderella teams, Saint Peter’s and Miami, in the Elite Eight.

Despite these all being big name programs, not every team was expected to be here when the tournament began. Let’s break down the odds for each team to win it all via WynnBET Sportsbook

What Are the Odds to Win the National Championship?

  • Duke: +155
  • Kansas: +190
  • Villanova: +460
  • North Carolina: +525

Oddsmakers are expecting Duke and Mike Krzyzewski or Kansas and Bill Self to come away with the title, but that may be due to the injury suffered by Villanova star Justin Moore,

Moore, the team’s second-leading scorer, tore his Achilles in the Wildcats’ win over Houston in the Elite 8. He is done for the season and may miss part, if not all, of the 2022-23 season.

We’ve still seen crazy things happen in March, but it’s a tough blow for a Nova team that rolled through the South Region.

What Are the Seeds of the Teams in the Final Four?

Even though these schools are all basketball royalty, it was far from a lock that these teams would be the final four remaining.

Duke was a No. 2 seed in the same region as the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs, the North Carolina Tar Heels are a No. 8 seed, and the Wildcats (No. 2 seed) had to go through a tough Houston team to reach the Final Four.

Kansas is the only No. 1 seed that made the Final Four this season, but oddsmakers still think the Duke Blue Devils are the best team remaining based on the odds.

What Channel is the Final Four On?
