Chad Johnson Arrested on Parole Violation
By Josh Sanchez
Former Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson has been arrested by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. It comes at an interesting time, because just a few days ago we were starting to hear some rumblings that “Ochocinco” was headed in a downward spiral. Now, he is arrested on a parole violation that stems from his domestic violence arrest last summer.
Johnson went to the sheriff’s office to turn himself in this morning after a warrant for his arrest was issued last week.
The violation of his probation came when Johnson allegedly failed to meet with his parole officer.
Johnson, who is normally very active on social media, has not made a post on his Twitter account since May 16.
Here is a look at Ochocinco’s sharp looking mug, via the Broward County Sheriff’s Office:
This doesn’t appear to be a major issue, so hopefully Johnson will be able to emerge without extended jail time.
After seeing the downfall of former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young just over a week ago, we hope that Johnson is not headed down that same path.
