During tonight’s NBA Draft, there was an extremely uncomfortable moment between Los Angles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers and ESPN ‘analyst’ Bill Simmons which our own Josh Sanchez covered here.

Simmons, a die hard Celtics fan who was not happy about the trade that sent Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn, suggested that Rivers quit on the Celtics which lead to the dismantling of the franchise.

Doc obviously didn’t take too kindly to Simmons’ views, calling him an idiot which was followed by an awkward pause before Simmons continued on his rant. It looked to be over there, but soon after the exchange, Rivers’ son Jeremiah Rivers decided to drop a few knowledge bombs on Simmons via Twitter, which you can read below.

I have a good feeling they’ll be removed in the morning, if not sooner, so here’s a screenshot of the one sided exchange (read from the bottom up):

Simmons of course hasn’t taken the time to respond given he’s been working the majority of the night. However, considering he spent a good portion of the evening checking Twitter (his admission) there’s a good chance he’s come across the tweets.
