The news just continues to get worse for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, Jeremy Maclin.

The former Missouri standout was reportedly screaming in excruciating pain after he went down with an injury earlier today, which we documented this morning.

Maclin himself hinted that he believed he had torn his ACL, a feeling he would be familiar with since he suffered the injury during his time in college. However, now Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Eagles fear Maclin has torn both his ACL and MCL in his right leg.

Per Rapoport:

"Upon first examination, #Eagles fear a torn ACL and MCL for WR Jeremy Maclin, I’m told. Awaiting official word, though. In MRI now."

An already incredibly devastating injury somehow gets worse for Maclin who is set to become a free agent at season end, assuming the report is true.

The Eagles are already down one receiver after cutting Nick Miller recently, who could be brought back given the severity of Maclin’s injury.
