Earlier today, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was indicted for murder. Apparently though, it was no sweat of his back.

I know that people handle things in different ways, but if I was sitting in a court room facing murder chargers, I probably wouldn’t be laughing which is exactly what Hernandez did in court this morning.

Granted, it wasn’t a full out chuckle but the multiple smug smiles he had when talking to a bailiff (or sheriff?) were certainly strange, to say the least.

More like sociopathic, in all honesty.

Masshole Sports has the video of Hernandez leaning back to the authority behind him, starting to smurk as he begins to lean. His mouth is hidden from view before the officer leans in to listen. The officer, never breaking his stoic look stands back up while Hernandez swings around in his chair, grinning and smiling in the most odd of ways.

Who knows what he said – it could have been completely innocent though the the bailiff certainly didn’t see much humor in it.

Very odd demeanor for somebody facing a murder charge.
