Stop me if you’ve heard this before – Tony Romo is going to be even better than last  year.

In fairness to Romo, the guy has a ton of talent, but he often gets caught in the moment and makes really poor decisions.

Maybe that will all be in the past though after Romo apparently found ‘something special’ in his throwing release, as he told Fox Sports Southwest recently:

"Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo tells FOXSportsSouthwest.com that he’s “discovered something that is going to be really special” with a change in his throwing mechanics as he prepares for the 2013 season.“I don’t want to get into all the details of it,” Romo recently revealed as part of a pair of one-on-one interviews. “But I really think it can be a positive change.”The “change” is highly subtle and involves arm angles and release points. Romo first shared the information with FOXSportsSouthwest.com in Oxnard, Calif., in early August when he took to the training camp field a full two hours ahead of schedule for a private workout.  He came away from that experimental session beaming."

Guess we’ll be seeing just how special it is in a few days.
