Although Nate Washington has been outplayed by fellow wide receiver Kendall Wright, he hasn’t lost his starting job according to Jim Wyatt:

"No surprises here but Munchak said Nate Washington & Kenny Britt will be the team’s starting WRs, with Kendall Wright the third for #Titans"

Washington was all but certainly on his way out just as short as a few weeks ago, but apparently a soft market forced the Titans to hang onto Washington who will remain as the Titans number two wide receiver behind Kenny Britt.

That said, the ‘starter’ name is just that – a title.

It’s very possible that while Washington will start games, Wright could end up playing more snaps than the former Tiffin standout.

Washington came into the league undrafted, though has fallen off since signing a six year, $27 million dollar contract with the Titans in 2009.

If you’re looking at it from a fantasy football perspective, stick with Wright, who has far greater upside when the two are compared and should be just as reliable, if not more.
