Well folks – the time has come. In just under an hour, the NFL season (sans Opening Night) will kick off and the next five months are going to be football heaven.

Thankfully, with over a week to recover since the preseason concluded, injuries are at a relative minimum so many star players will be on the field.

Make sure you check your fantasy football lineup so you don’t get stuck with an inactive player on your roster – nothing more aggravating than that.

Below are the inactive players for the Kansas City Chiefs – Jacksonville Jaguars game, which is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Kansas City Chiefs:

RG Jon Asamoah (calf), ILB Nico Johnson (ankle), WR Chad Hall, S Brad McDougald, LB Josh Martin, DL Allen Bailey, and QB Tyler Bray

Jacksonville Jaguars:

TE Mercedes Lewis (calf), G Jacques McClendon, T Cameron Bradfield, S Winston Guy, DT Abry Jones, DE Chris McCoy, and No. 3 QB Ricky Stanzi

Mercedes Lewis is a player you may find on two tight end fantasy football leagues, so his absence will be felt by some. Quarterback Blane Gabbert will start. For the Chiefs, no notable fantasy players will be out.
