There’s having a bad game and then there’s what David Wilson had during Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

If the fumble just moments into the game wasn’t enough, Wilson missed a key blitz and then fumbled again, which lead to a quick benching. He never saw the field again and now it appears Wilson is at the bottom of the depth chart, well, at least according to him.

Per Wilson, via Art Stapleton:

"David Wilson: “I’m just gonna keep working hard. I’m at the bottom now. So nowhere to go but up from here. That’s really all I got.” #NYG"

Think anybody was asshole enough to play Drake’s ‘Started From the Bottom’ in the locker room last night?

You really can’t help but feel for Wilson, who is now going through a near identical situation as to last season when he was benched for his inability to hang onto the rock.

Hopefully somebody gets the poor kid some stick em or something – it’s rough to watch.

The Giants are bringing in a handful of veteran free agent running backs to work out this week.
