Ryan Tannehill-Miami Dolphins

The Sophomore QB has avoided any signs of a slump so far as he’s continued to grow as a passer and has lead his Dolphins to a pair of road wins to start the season. Last week, Tannehill threw for 319 yards and a touchdown while beating Andrew Luck and the Colts in Indy after throwing for 272 yards while beating the Browns week one.

He’s in a nice matchup with a beatable Falcons secondary who ranks in the bottom third of the league after getting solidly beaten by Sam Bradford last week even though Atlanta won the game. Bradford finished with three touchdowns and 353 yards as the Falcons fell to the sixth-easiest passing defenst for opposing QB’s.

Tannehill will need to have another big game this week to keep up with a potent Falcons offense and to make up for the still-struggling Dolphins running game. Although he’s still not a weekly QB1, his matchup makes him a viable option today even though he’s still on waiver wires in many leagues.

Other QB Sleepers I like: Carson Palmer (Arizona Cardinals), Terrelle Pryor (Oakland Raiders)
